My involvement with Patriot Cares evolved from supporting the board's communications and program development to serving as Co-Chair for one year. During my earlier work with the board, I helped restructure the organization's approach to community assistance around three defined pillars: Food Support, Durable Medical Equipment, and Transportation.

The new structure created clearer parameters for assistance and a more focused way to communicate Patriot Cares' role in the community. I later continued my involvement through a one-year term as Co-Chair, supporting the organization's ongoing work and direction.
