Hi, I’m Langley.
I’m the person behind Elm Creative.
My background is in communication, branding, content, and creative strategy, but the part of the work I’ve always been most drawn to is figuring things out. I like taking a situation with too many moving pieces, understanding what matters, and turning it into something clear, useful, and intentional.
That’s ultimately why I created Elm. I wanted the freedom to work more closely with people and businesses, ask better questions, and create solutions based on what they actually need rather than forcing every project into the same box.
I hold a master’s degree in Professional Communication and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a focus in social media. My professional experience spans brand management, communications, content development, graphic design, video, social media strategy, and community engagement.
Elm brings all of those pieces together under one roof, without pretending every client needs all of them.
How We Work
Before jumping to a logo, a piece of content, or a new strategy, I look at what’s happening, who’s involved, and why something isn’t working. From there, I pull together the pieces, find the patterns, and create something with intention.
Elm exists somewhere between a consultant and a creative studio. That means the work can look different depending on what you need. Sometimes it’s building the foundation of a new brand. Sometimes it’s figuring out how to communicate something complicated. Sometimes it’s creating the actual thing.
The common thread is thoughtful creative problem-solving.
